Virenc receives innovation funding from Region Örebro County
Virenc has been awarded innovation funding from Region Örebro County to support the company’s continued work on patents and intellectual property rights.
Protecting Virenc’s technology and intellectual property is an important part of the company’s long-term development. The new funding will support continued work to strengthen Virenc’s patent position and create favourable conditions for the future commercialisation of its technology.
“We are very grateful for the support and confidence shown by Region Örebro County. The funding enables us to continue strengthening the protection of our technology as we take the next steps in Virenc’s development,” says Mattias Jonsson, Chairman of the Board at Virenc.
The funding will contribute to Virenc’s ongoing efforts to protect and further develop innovations originating from research at Örebro University.
“Building a strong intellectual property position is particularly important for a research-based company like Virenc. It provides a foundation for continued development and, ultimately, for bringing the technology closer to the market,” says Mattias Jonsson.
